2002 Irene McCormack Catholic College, Butler, opened. From February to October 2002 the school operated in shops until moving to the current campus. The school was named after Sister Irene, a Sister of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart, who was murdered in Peru in 1991.

2002 St Emilie’s Catholic Primary School, Canning Vale, opened.

2004 Banksia Grove Catholic Primary School opened.

2004 Brighton Catholic Primary School, Butler, opened. It is now known as St Francis of Assisi.

2005 St Francis Xavier Primary School, Armadale, was relocated to Forrest Road, Brookdale.

2005 Dawesville Catholic Primary College opened. During 2005 the school was known as Florida Catholic Primary School.
