Liwara Primary School celebrate the Nativity

15 December 2022

Celebrating the joy of Christmas is certainly a hallmark of Catholic schools, with students and teachers finding creative ways to tell the story of the nativity.

At Liwara Catholic Primary School, the Pre-Primary students had fun presenting their Nativity Play, ‘The Angel Who Nearly Missed It All’.

There have been HOURS of rehearsals and much preparation for the incredibly important role that the Angel Chorus will need to play to spread the news of the birth of a very special baby. But, are they ready? Well, one angel most certainly isn’t… Join Late Angel, the Angel Chorus and a whole host of familiar characters.

The children loved performing this Nativity saying, ‘this is the best thing we’ve ever done’ and ‘it was very, very fun’. They commented ‘we were nervous but had a great time’.

Speaking about the production they commented ‘it was super great fun and tells the story of Jesus being born in the stable’ adding ‘I loved when we did the swaying song’ and that it was the ‘nicest thing ever’.

From everyone at Liwara and from all of us at Catholic Education WA – Wishing you a Blessed Christmas!
