Spirit of the Arts to showcase student talent in Perth CBD

04 August 2021

Registrations to participate in Catholic Arts’ inaugural Spirit of the Arts Festival closed recently, and with a wonderful response from schools, the stage is set for an exciting program.

One of the highlights of the festival will no doubt be the massed choir at the Performing Arts Festival Concert in RAC Arena on Monday, 13 September.

Thirty-five schools are taking part in the flag procession and the massed choir, with a total of 1326 students set to sing.

Another six schools who are unable to attend the concert are submitting their own videos of the Faith in the Future song.

While the festival concert will be a grand affair, it is far from the only opportunity to catch the musical talent of CEWA students during Spirit of the Arts.

From Tuesday, 14 September through to Thursday, 16 September, groups from 18 schools will be performing in the lunchtime concerts at Yagan Square and Forrest Place.

The following day, Friday, 17 September, Forrest Place will come to life with the Catholic Education Carnevalé, consisting performances, market stalls and a fashion show.

Ticket sales are opening soon, so please watch this space!
