Time to celebrate the values and ethos of Catholic education as nominations open for 2023 QCE Awards

02 June 2023

It’s time to celebrate the incredible values and ethos within Catholic schools and highlight the very best of Catholic education as Catholic Education WA’s Quality Catholic Education (QCE) Awards return for another year.

Nominations can be made by any of the 164 Catholic schools for categories across the four QCE Pillars – Catholic Identity, Education, Community and Stewardship as well as a ‘Student-led Initiative’. Each category will have a Primary and Secondary school award.

Nominations can be submitted from today (1 June 2023) until 11 August with the winners announced at the 2023 Staff Breakfast on 16 October at Optus Stadium. There will also be a People’s Choice Award, voted online by the general public between 8 and 24 September.

Winners in each of the categories will receive $4,000 towards their project. Last year’s winners included a primary school podcast, community radio initiative, a climate change project, and a community garden.
