Special guest in the kitchen for Good Shepherd’s Cooking Club

Budding young chefs at Good Shepherd Catholic Primary School welcomed a special guest as the Minister for Education, Hon Dr Tony Buti MLA, joined their Cooking Club on 4 December, where he made some delicious fried rice with students.
The young chefs were excited to have the Minister join them with Mariah saying “I really enjoyed hanging out with Tony. He is really nice!”
Michael added:
“He has a cookbook and is super chill.”
Nicholas was impressed with Minister Buti, saying:
“He is so cool because he has a Youtube Channel.”
“I enjoyed making Fried Rice with Tony,” added Massimo.
Michael said:
“I liked the Fried Rice! And Tony was nice.”
Whilst Ava revelled in the experience, saying:
“We cooked Fried rice with him, it was fun.”
“It was really fun, we cooked fried Rice and were talking to Tony,” said Romeo.
The Cooking Club is just one of a number of programs offered at Good Shepherd which aim to encourage social communication, daily living and other life skills.

“I know Mariah has sometimes gone to school because she knew she didn’t want to miss Cooking Club! Such a blessing in her life and a wonderful memory for years to come.”
The Pavey Family added:
“Well done. Thank you to the teachers for the effort and support they have given. Thankyou.”

“Looks like everyone is having a good time!!”
