Celebrate Kaartdijin Week with CEWA

31 August 2017

The CEWA Aboriginal Education Team invite you to join them in celebrating Kaartdijin Week from 4-8 September 2017.

Kaartdijin (meaning ‘Knowledge’ in Noongar language) Week will coincide with Indigenous Literacy Day 2017.

The AET Team have lined up a deadly series of webinars to enable CEWA staff across the state to hear from strong Aboriginal voices sharing in language, education and the importance of strong culture. There are webinars starting at 12:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of Kaartdijin Week – find out more by clicking this link aet.cewa.edu.au webinars and please invite your colleagues to join the webinars with you!

This year Kaartdijin Week will also give staff the opportunity to participate in the Indigenous Literacy Foundation’s Great Book Swap at CEWA’s Leederville office. Please check your bookshelves for anything you can donate to a new home and worthy cause.
