Over 100 delegates from 110 Catholic schools across Western Australia gathered at the Duxton Hotel Perth to be informed about significant issues relating to Catholic Education in Western Australia, and thanked for the part they play in our flourishing education system.

Catholic Education Western Australia Executive Director (CEWA), Dr Tim McDonald, began the day with an address centred around “2017 and Beyond: Challenges and Opportunities, Leading in Uncertain Times”.

Following sessions throughout the day addressed tools and support for maximising Board effectiveness, the LEADing Lights Digital Transformation, as well as risk management in schools.

Attendees then gathered at St Mary’s Cathedral for Mass celebrated by The Most Reverend Timothy Costelloe SDB, Archbishop of Perth, and concelebrated by Bishop Sproxton. The day concluded with dinner and an address by The Honourable Sue Ellery MLC, Minister for Education & Training, as she shared her aspirations for the future of education in Western Australia, and how we will work together achieve the best outcomes for all students.
