1985 – Dr Peter Tannock appointed Director Catholic Education in WA and Chairman of the Catholic Education Commission of WA.

Dr Peter Tannock served as Director Catholic Education in WA and Chairman of the Catholic Education Commission of WA (CECWA) from 1985 until 1992.

 

Upon leaving his role at the Catholic Education Office of WA (CEOWA), Dr Peter Tannock  became the second vice-chancellor of the newly established Notre Dame University.

 

The Catholic Education Commission of Western Australia (CECWA) and Catholic Education Western Australia Limited (CEWA), including all Catholic schools, are accountable to the Bishops of Western Australia, State and Commonwealth Governments, as well as their local communities.

The CEWA Executive Team and the staff of their directorates function as the executive arm of the CECWA.
