John XXIII student becomes first third ACC Letterman

09 November 2017

Year 12 John XXIII student Sian Munks was presented with her third set of ACC (Associated & Catholic Colleges of WA) Letters by ACC Director of Sport, Kyle March, at the school graduation ceremony earlier last month.

Sian is the first ever ACC athlete to receive ACC letters across all three individual carnivals, Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics. She has competed at a total of 18 carnivals, receiving All Star in 14. A well rounded and talented athlete, Sian has also represented WA interstate in swimming, broken the 50m butterfly record and received the 2017 Pierre de Coubertin Award.

The ACC was established in 1937 and is an independent secondary schools sports association with over 60 participating schools across the state. The ACC Letters is the highest individual accolade conferred by the ACC to students who have been selected in an All Star team in the same sport for a minimum of four years.

Congratulations to Sian, what an outstanding sporting achievement.
