Each year, the LEAD Awards for Excellence recognise school initiatives that contribute to outstanding outcomes for students and exemplify our strategic focus areas of Learning, Engagement, Accountability and Discipleship.

The LEAD Awards endeavour to:

• Promote excellence in Catholic education
• Encourage school communities and individuals to share initiatives and best practice with colleagues
• Provide recognition for the dedication and innovation of individuals and teams in supporting children and young people to realise their potential
• Increase understanding and awareness of the achievements of Catholic schools in WA

In 2017, we had a record of 30 applications which showcased a variety of exciting and innovative projects with the Awards recognising eight schools for their efforts in STEM learning and teaching, mental health, faith and community initiatives.

CEWA encourages you and your staff to apply and support the LEAD Awards in 2018. The Awards provide us with a fantastic opportunity to share and celebrate the outstanding work our schools do throughout our system.

Submissions close on Friday, 15 June and winners will be announced at the annual Catholic School Staff Breakfast on Wednesday, 8 August 2018.
