14 September 2017

Congratulations to St Bernard’s student, Alexander Mathwin, who received a NAIDOC Award of Excellence for his colouring-in entry in the Koori Kids NAIDOC Week School Competition. He was one of 20 recipients from across Western Australia to receive a medal for this award.

St Bernard’s School participated in the state-wide competition this year, where students had the choice of entering a poem with the message of ‘We Are One People’, or colouring in a picture.

The competition aims to provide children around the state with a greater understanding of friendship and cultural diversity.
