Teachers Encouraged to Develop Leadership Skills

Plenary Council 2020 facilitator Lana Turvey-Collins will deliver a workshop to help primary and secondary teachers develop their own leadership skills as well as those of their students.

The Forming Student Leaders workshop will be held on Tuesday 26 June at James Nestor Hall at the Catholic Education Centre in Leederville from 9am to 4pm.

Ms Turvey-Collins has a wealth of experience in senior leadership, strategic planning, facilitation and stakeholder engagement and has been seconded from Catholic Mission Australia, where she has been leading the mission formation team and adult formation program.

She brings to her new role as facilitator of the Plenary Council 2020 a passion for God’s mission and believes there is great strength and wisdom in the diversity of the Australian Catholic community.

The workshop costs $80 with morning tea and lunch provided.
