Kimberley Calling Program 2017 – apply now!

12 June 2017

The Kimberley Calling Program for 2017 is now underway. Catholic Education Western Australia is currently seeking expressions of interest from outstanding, faith-filled teachers to join us in transforming the lives of students in some of the most isolated communities in Australia.

Teachers in Kimberley Catholic schools provide contemporary faith-based education to students in the dioceses of Broome, inspiring gospel values and enriching community life by delivering extraordinary learning opportunities.

If you’re looking for more than “just a job” then our Kimberley Calling Program is the opportunity you have been waiting for.

Applicants will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in improving literacy and numeracy is essential
  • Familiarity with the Reading Recovery program, Explicit Direct Instruction and Direct Instruction pedagogies will be advantageous
  • You must be eligible for registration with the Teachers Registration Board of WA

Remote area packages offered to successful applicants include relocation expenses, air conditioning subsidies, travel provisions and financial incentives.
