CEWA CARE School: St Francis’ School, Maddington

18 October 2017

St Francis’ School in Maddington is one of Catholic Education Western Australia’s (CEWA) four CARE (Curriculum and Re-Engagement) schools. CEWA’s CARE schools play an important role in our education system, providing a place for those who are vulnerable and educationally marginalised to reach their full potential through a modified curriculum that suits their individual needs.

St Francis’ School is a co-educational secondary CARE school for Year 10 to 12 students that offers a safe, nurturing environment where students are encouraged to take ownership of their education and be formed as young people committed to love, compassion and justice.

St Francis’ School vision is underpinned by giving witness to Gospel values, and living out the school’s core principles of Respect, Responsibility, Belief and Belonging.

Educational programs at St Francis’ School focus on academic and employment qualifications, with a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy to equip students with the skills to succeed in all aspects of their lives.

The school has spaces available for 2018 in Year 10 and limited spaces in Year 11.
