Feast Day continues centenary celebrations for St Matthews

18 October 2018

As part of their ongoing centenary festivities, St Matthew’s School Narrogin recently enjoyed feast day celebrations for the patron saint of their school and church, St Matthew.

Students enjoyed lunch and feast day cake, followed by traditional games.

Representatives of the Sisters of our Lady of the Missions, the school’s founders, celebrated with the staff and students.

A formal celebration of the school’s hundred-year history will be held from the 2-4 November this year, including a whole-school musical performance of Shrek, fete, and tour of the original convent building, now the CY O’Connor TAFE.
