College Gives Christmas Hampers to Struggling Families

21 December 2018

The Irene McCormack Catholic College community has again provided Christmas Hampers for the St Andrew’s Parish and Clarkson’s St Vincent De Paul Society.

The College community hope that their gifts will reflect the importance of giving as a part of their Christmas celebrations.

For at least 40 local families, who are financially struggling, the gifts of the well-stocked hampers including clothing, baskets and gift vouchers, will enable them to experience something lovely at this sacred time.

Assistant Deputy Principal Campus Ministry John Swindells said each care group and staff prepared the baskets.

“They looked wonderful and generous, and add something special to all of our experience of Christmas. Best wishes to everyone for a beautiful and blessed Christmas,” he said.”
